I specialise in resource management law, and am also part of the team specialising in forestry and the Emissions Trading Scheme.
My recent work has involved:
- acting for clients in regional and district plan change proceedings, such as for a fertiliser association with respect to a plan change relating to water quality;
- acting for Federated Farmers (Mackenzie Branch) with respect to a plan change addressing landscape issues;
- obtaining resource consents for a new greenfields quarry (through a direct referral process to the Environment Court); and
- acting for Synlait Milk with respect to applications for extensions of a milk processing plant.
