Sandra is a property and commercial lawyer. She works with a wide range of private, commercial, and corporate clients on all aspects of property, including residential and commercial property acquisitions, subdivisions and leasing. Sandra also advises on a number of commercial matters, including commercial contracts, refinancing, and structural and operational aspects of business.

She deals with a range of work from assisting clients with the purchase of their first home to large scale property acquisitions and disposals, as well as commercial contracts, business restructuring and acquisitions. Working directly with clients from start to finish, Sandra takes the approach that “prevention is better than a cure” and provides clients with thorough, clear and timely advice.

  • Advising a large farming, horticulture and forestry investment group on property acquisitions, disposals, subdivision projects, and various areas of general property due diligence.
  • Advising commercial and corporate clients on commercial contracts, and leasing.
  • Managing the acquisition of a large forestry estate on behalf of an investment group, liaising with relevant stakeholders and providing legal advice on property due diligence.

  • Sandra volunteered in several initiatives at UC and the wider community; UCSA Help, Shakti Christchurch, UN Women Christchurch, the Community Justice Panel, Community Law Canterbury, and contributed her research towards the Harvard Kennedy School’s international research initiative on Violence against Women, also published in the International Journal for Gender Equality. 
  • Sandra was selected for the Police Prosecution Internship before finishing her double degree in 2015.
