Helen Pryde

Senior Associate

I am an experienced employment lawyer and specialise in all aspects of employment, and health and safety law. I also have a background in general litigation, including public law and extensive experience in criminal law.

I am available to advise on all issues arising from the employment relationship, including:

  • Employment agreements and policies
  • Holidays and leave
  • Performance management
  • Disciplinary processes
  • Independent investigations
  • Disciplinary matters potentially overlapping with criminal law
  • Restructuring and redundancy
  • Restraints of trade
  • Medical incapacity
  • Independent contractor agreements
  • Health and safety

Prior to joining Duncan Cotterill, I worked for a boutique specialist employment law firm where I represented employer and employee clients across a broad range of industries. I am a very experienced litigator and have significant dispute resolution experience in the context of personal grievances, restraints of trade, and health and safety matters.

I have also previously practised law in England, both as a barrister and as a government lawyer. I was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2001 as a member of Middle Temple.
