Emma is a commercial litigation and dispute resolution specialist, with particular expertise in insolvency.
Acting for large companies, small businesses and private individuals, Emma advises on a broad range of litigation involving contractual claims, shareholder disputes, breaches of directors’ duties, negligence, construction disputes, and fair trading.
She regularly advises creditors, directors and liquidators on insolvency issues, including bankruptcy, receiverships, and liquidations, together with complex debt and asset recovery.
In addition to her commercial focus, Emma has extensive public law litigation experience and advises on statutory appeals, judicial review, regulatory prosecutions and investigations, together with a variety of insurance matters.
Emma has appeared in the District Court, High Court and specialist tribunals on a range of proceedings including injunctions. She also has experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution such as mediation.
