As an expert in medico-legal litigation, Charlotte advises on a range of health-sector matters and regularly provides professional indemnity advice to an array of health practitioners facing disciplinary action.

In addition, Charlotte regularly advises architects and engineers who encounter disciplinary complaints and breach of contract, negligence, and/or professional liability claims. She has broad experience advising on a variety of civil litigation matters.

Charlotte has appeared before the Court of Appeal, High Court, District Court, Coroner’s Court, various specialist tribunals and the New Zealand Parole Board.

She has vast experience in ACC law, Mental Health Act proceedings and criminal proceedings, having previously worked for a boutique personal injury law firm and as a duty solicitor on the mental health roster for multiple District Health Boards.

Charlotte has developed a solid understanding of her clients’ needs and provides solution-focused advice that is considerate, robust and pragmatic.
