To Senior Associate

  • Billie Zagni, Litigation, Auckland
    An experienced insurance litigation lawyer, Billie has a particular focus on professional indemnity insurance. She specialises in medico-legal litigation assisting a broad range of health professionals in relation to complaints and disciplinary proceedings. Billie regularly provides indemnity and liability advice to insurers regarding complex claims.
  • Charlotte Kerr, Litigation, Auckland
    As an expert in medico-legal litigation, Charlotte advises on a range of health-sector matters and regularly provides professional indemnity advice to an array of health practitioners facing disciplinary action. Her extensive legal experience encompasses appearances before all levels of the courts, various specialist tribunals, and the New Zealand Parole Board. Charlotte also has significant experience in ACC law, Mental Health Act proceedings and is a lead legal aid provider.
  • Jessica Wei, Commercial, Auckland
    With her specialist expertise in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and joint ventures, corporate and commercial lawyer Jessica regularly advises on corporate transactions and investments. She works with a range of domestic and international clients, including multinational corporations, listed companies, SMEs and start-ups. Jessica has experience advising on a wide variety of corporate advisory and commercial contracting matters.
  • Tracey Kelderman, Commercial, Auckland
    Specialising in corporate and commercial law, Tracey has a particular focus on corporate governance, business sales and acquisitions, regulatory frameworks, intellectual property, compliance with consumer laws, and privacy. Her expertise extends to advising on a wide range of commercial contracts, including supply of goods and services, distribution, support and maintenance, licences, and commercialising and protecting intellectual property.
  • Dion Morley, Litigation, Auckland
    With a particular interest in financial regulatory litigation, construction disputes and cyber matters, Dion is an experienced civil litigation lawyer. He has broad experience in a variety of civil litigation matters in both the District Court and High Court, ranging from contract disputes and debt recovery to complex class actions and regulatory investigations. Dion’s experience also includes insurance, cyber, insolvency, and defective building claims.
  • AJ Julian, Commercial, Christchurch
    An experienced property and commercial lawyer, AJ specialises in all aspects of property including subdivisions, easements, accretions and leasing. She deals with a wide scope of work from large scale property developments and subdivision projects to capital raising, commercial leasing, business restructuring and acquisitions. AJ has a keen interest in block chain, the impact it has on legal solutions and how this can be implemented into future distribution network solutions.
  • Racheal Allison, Family, Christchurch
    Racheal is a skilled family lawyer with extensive experience in matters relating to parenting, separation, relationship property, guardianship disputes, child support, family violence (protection orders) and asset protection, including contracting out agreements (pre-nuptials). She is a strong advocate for her clients and has the skills and expertise necessary to represent them in court if required. Racheal’s experience and child-focussed approach has been recognised by her inclusion on the Court-appointed Lawyer for Child list.
  • Isabella Gorringe, Commercial, Christchurch
    As an experienced commercial lawyer, Isabella advises clients on a broad range of commercial, rural and property related matters including advising on shareholder agreements, assisting clients with the sale and purchase of their businesses together with all aspects of leasing and commercial and residential developments. She also acts for clients on subdivisions and other general matters. Isabella works with clients with due diligence investigations on multimillion dollar acquisitions of both agricultural and commercial property investments. 

To Special Counsel

  • Kirsty Wallace, Litigation, Wellington
    As a seasoned litigation and dispute resolution lawyer specialising in employment law, Kirsty has experience representing clients in a wide range of disputes in various courts and tribunals including mediation, the Employment Relations Authority, the District Court, the High Court and a number of specialist tribunals. She is also experienced in commercial litigation, medico-legal matters and local authority regulation as a prosecutor. With her employment expertise, Kirsty will continue to grow the employment offering in Wellington.
  • Louisa Joblin, Commercial, Wellington
    As a privacy specialist, Louisa focuses on privacy protection and compliance, advising clients about the requirements of the Privacy Act 2020, privacy documentation and procedure, and how to respond to actual and suspected privacy breaches. As a Not-For-Profit specialist, Louisa works with a wide variety of not-for-profit organisations and charities, advising about modernisation and restructuring, governance, voting procedures, and complex member rights disputes. Louisa leads our Not-For-Profit and Privacy team in Wellington.
