Staying connected
to our alumni

At Duncan Cotterill, we value the relationships we build with our people and embody our value of He tāngata. Our alumni events are an important part of maintaining these connections, offering opportunities to reconnect, share experiences and stay informed about developments at the firm.

Whether based in New Zealand or overseas, our alumni remain an integral part of our community, and we’re always pleased to welcome familiar faces back—for a catch-up or a return to the firm.

Register your details below to hear about our next international city visits.

Alumni London May 2025

In May 2025, we hosted our annual London alumni event, welcoming 18 attendees. The event was hosted by Duncan Cotterill Partners Jonathan Scragg and Rob Coltman, alongside Senior Associate Dion Morley. This annual gathering plays a key role in maintaining strong overseas connections with our UK-based alumni.

This year, attendees were encouraged to bring a guest considering a return to work in New Zealand, providing them a unique chance to gain first-hand insight into life at Duncan Cotterill, directly from our partners and alumni. Our next London event is scheduled for May 2026.

Alumni Sydney February 2025

In February 2025, we welcomed 18 alumni for drinks and nibbles with Duncan Cotterill Partners Alastair Espie, Juliet Short, and Rob Coltman in Sydney. The event reflected our strong Trans-Tasman relationships and reaffirmed our commitment to staying connected with our Australian alumni. Our next Sydney alumni event is planned for early 2026.
