Hagen has regularly appeared before the Court of Appeal, High Court, District Court and the New Zealand Parole Board.

He is passionate about delivering clear, pragmatic and solutions focused advice to help his clients navigate their dispute. Before joining Duncan Cotterill, Hagen worked as a criminal defence barrister appearing and advising on all aspects of the criminal justice process.
