During her time in New South Wales, Geeti represented a variety of government clients in contentious public law litigation including defending judicial review and statutory review proceedings, conducting regulatory and disciplinary proceedings and assisting coroners, including the State Coroner, in high profile inquests and inquiries.

Geeti enjoys assisting clients identify effective, practical strategies and solutions that mitigate risk, enhance service delivery and strengthen compliance.

Recent highlights

  • Assisting the Electricity Authority in the conduct of regulatory proceedings against industry participants for alleged breaches of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010.

  • Assisting the State Coroner of New South Wales in the coronial inquiry into the 2019/2020 ‘Black Summer’ Bushfires.
