Tracey has extensive experience advising clients across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters with a particular focus on corporate governance, business sales and acquisitions, regulatory frameworks, intellectual property, compliance with consumer laws, and privacy.

Her diverse expertise in commercial contracts includes advising on confidentiality agreements, agreements for the supply of goods and services, distribution arrangements, partnership and sponsorship agreements and technology contracts (including design and implementation agreements, support and maintenance agreements, SaaS agreements, master services agreements and associated statements of work).

Prior to joining Duncan Cotterill, Tracey developed a strong foundation in intellectual property and technology contracts at a boutique intellectual property and technology law firm, where she also advised on commercialising and protecting intellectual property, licences, promotional terms and conditions and product labelling/packaging.

Tracey has worked with a diverse portfolio of clients including start-ups, one of New Zealand’s container ports, a New Zealand grocery distributor and a global payments platform.

She is valued by clients for her attention to detail, commercial acumen, and collaborative approach.
