Tim has extensive experience in New Zealand and the United Kingdom advising institutional investors, developers, and corporates on all aspects of their real estate requirements. This includes commercial property acquisitions, residential and mixed-use development work and commercial leasing. He also is regularly instructed by banks, non-bank lenders and borrowers on property finance transactions and security arrangements.

Prior to joining Duncan Cotterill, Tim worked in an international firm in London as well as national firms in New Zealand.

  • Regularly acting for an established commercial property developer on acquisitions and disposals of significant city and city-fringe buildings.

  • Acting for an institutional investor on its acquisition and restructure of a cross border hospitality portfolio and staged divestment.

  • Advising European private equity firm on the sale of its multi-tenanted central London office block.
