Tabitha is a litigation and disputes resolution lawyer with a focus on insurance, medico-legal, and construction. She acts for a broad range of clients, including insurers, corporates, and government agencies.
In the medico-legal space, Tabitha acts for a range of health professionals including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, and social workers in relation to complaints and disciplinary matters before the Health and Disability Commissioner and their respective professional registration boards. Tabitha has also represented government agencies at Coronial Inquests.
In the construction sector, Tabitha regularly acts for construction professionals facing civil proceedings in the High Court. Tabitha has been involved in several multi-party defective building claims, and has acted for a range of engineers and surveyors in relation to their alleged negligence.
Her expertise in the insurance space sees her advising insurers on a range of indemnity and liability matters, as well as conducting defence for their insureds.
Tabitha has experience in both small and large-scale litigation and has appeared in hearings before the High Court, District Court, Coroner’s Court, and the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal.
