Her focus in insurance law covers indemnity, negligence and professional liability claims, with a particular specialism in professional indemnity matters in the construction space, including professional complaints and disciplinary claims.
In the construction sector, Miranda is regularly instructed on complex and high-value disputes and is an expert in architect and engineering claims. She is also known for dealing with Legal Expenses insurance claims.
Her expertise in the general insurance and litigation space sees her advising insurers both on policy response and conducting defence for their insureds. Miranda supports clients throughout the New Zealand Court system and specialist tribunals.
