Lisa specialises in corporate and commercial law, advising clients on a broad range of commercial matters including business contracts, structuring, business acquisitions and disposals and capital raising.
She acts for clients in a wide range of industries including agriculture, horticulture, forestry, technology, energy and renewables, manufacturing and service sectors.
Lisa acts for clients on commercial transactions including advising on company, joint venture and other business structures, shareholder agreements, and assisting clients with the sale and purchase of their shares and businesses.
Her expertise extends to advising on a wide range of commercial contracts, including distribution, supply, manufacturing, franchising, licensing and terms of trade.
Lisa also advises technology clients on various types of technology project agreements, including systems integration and implementation, cloud services, hosting solutions, software licensing and support and maintenance.
Lisa enjoys working with clients to understand their business and solve problems. She prides herself on providing clear and practical advice to help clients reach the best outcome.
Prior to joining Duncan Cotterill, Lisa worked for PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) in the Financial Assurance team, where she audited a range of businesses including overseas and NZX listed companies, as well as smaller businesses in the retail, manufacturing and financial industries. This provided Lisa with a unique opportunity to develop broad commercial acumen.
