Hannah advises both public and private sector clients across a wide range of industries. Her commercial expertise spans general commercial advisory and contracting, and she has a particular interest in the technology and financial services sectors. She regularly drafts and negotiates commercial contracts, including technology agreements such as for on-premises and cloud products, software licensing, and support and maintenance. Her commercial advisory expertise includes helping clients navigate compliance with data protection/privacy and financial services regulations.

Hannah also supports clients with corporate transactions and structuring, including mergers and acquisitions. She advises on all stages of the transaction lifecycle– from initial structuring and due diligence to transaction documentation, and post-completion integration – working closely with clients to manage risk and achieve strategic outcomes.

In addition to her New Zealand experience, Hannah spent three years in-house at global technology companies, including in a Senior Legal Counsel role in London where she managed the UK legal team.

Her in-house experience gives her a deep understanding of commercial and operational drivers, enabling her to deliver practical, business-focused legal advice that aligns with her clients’ strategic goals.
