I am a corporate and commercial law specialist with extensive experience advising on acquisitions, divestments and mergers, takeovers, securities offerings, corporate structures, governance and general commercial matters.
I work with clients both locally in Nelson and nationally. The clients cover a range of organisations and industries and include Sealord Group Limited, HNZ New Zealand Limited, Crown Asset Management Limited, Nelson City Council, Port Nelson Limited, Ngāti Tama ki Te Tau Ihu and Ngāti Kuia.
Recent work has included advising:
- Singaporean owners on the sale of Diners Club (NZ) to The Warehouse,
- Crown Asset Management on the purchase of assets from several finance companies under the Crown retail deposit guarantee scheme,
- a tourist operator on the purchase of Ngai Tahu’s Abel Tasman water taxi and kayak business, and
- major seafood companies on their investments with the Crown in the Primary Growth Partnership (a Crown-industry initiative that invests through co-investment programmes in research and development in the primary industry).
