Billie Zagni

I am an insurance litigation lawyer, with a particular focus on professional indemnity insurance. I assist a broad range of professionals including architects, engineers, social workers, and health professionals including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, counsellors, dentists, and optometrists. I also have experience in the alcohol law sector and have assisted various alcohol industry participants including supermarkets, bar operators, off-licence holders, and individual alcohol managers with all aspects of alcohol licensing and enforcement. 

I have appeared in hearings before the High Court, District Court, Coroner’s Court, Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal, Alcohol Regulatory and Licensing Authority, and various District Licensing Committees and professional boards.

I am a graduate of the University of Auckland (LLB(Hons)/BA) and have practiced law in New Zealand since 2014.
