Amy Douglas

I specialise in corporate/commercial, intellectual property and information technology law.
I advise on business sales and acquisitions, capital markets and corporate structuring and governance and a wide range of commercial agreements, including in relation to the supply of goods and services, distribution, manufacturing, sponsorship, franchising and concessions.
I am particularly interested in technology and the development and use of intellectual property. My information technology law experience includes advising on ICT outsourcings, software licensing and development, cloud computing services and support and maintenance agreements. My intellectual property law experience includes advising on and negotiating agreements to commission, license, assign and use intellectual property.
I also advise on privacy, data protection and consumer law matters.
I have spent time on secondment with clients at various times in my career including at the John Lewis Partnership in the United Kingdom. As a result, I have first-hand experience of how businesses receive and use legal advice, which has influenced my pragmatic and commercial approach.
