Partner Mark Cathro sums up our approach to delivering the best client service, “We do their BAU work, we’re involved with their strategic decision making, and rather than just being phoned up to do one particular thing and then not hear from them for a while, we’re involved with them day to day. That is quite deliberate.”

Partner Gareth Clendinning adds, “We do a good volume of deals but our value will be less than some of our competitors, but that really is by design. We work with the SME sector which is the beating heart of the New Zealand economy.”

Partner Chris Thomas says there is a wave of transactions related to succession planning, “sometimes those transactions get a bit impacted by market conditions, i.e sellers aren’t always getting the value they want, but it still has to happen and so often those transactions just keep going.”
