Jonathan Scragg appointed to AIDA Presidential Council
Wellington litigation partner Jonathan Scragg has recently been appointed to the Presidential Council of the International Insurance Law Association/ Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances (AIDA).
Jonathan is the first New Zealander to be nominated and appointed to the Council.
The Council is the governing body of AIDA. AIDA was formed in 1960 for the purpose of promoting and developing, at an international level, collaboration between its members with a view to increasing the study and knowledge of international and national insurance law and related matters. Professor Rob Merkin QC (special counsel at Duncan Cotterill) is a Vice-President of AIDA.
