Duncan Cotterill expands specialist property team

The firm is happy to announce the appointment of three talented new specialists to our Christchurch commercial property team, led by partners Paul Calder and Paul Dorrance.

Associate James Murphy recently joined Duncan Cotterill from another Christchurch law firm. He is a commercial property lawyer and acts for clients with significant real estate portfolios, including developers, investors, landlords and tenants. He has particular expertise in front-end construction projects, construction financing and property development.

Julia Flattery comes to the firm with twelve years’ property and construction law experience in the United Kingdom. She has worked on high profile residential, leisure, office, retail, industrial and infrastructure led developments including public private partnership schemes. Julia is a legal advisor, is UK qualified and has been practicing law since 2005.

Nicole Wong is a senior solicitor and works with local and international investors on their property, commercial law and immigration requirements. She is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay and Hakka, which adds a unique skillset for our international investor clients.
